ONE STOP STSYEM Kyungwoon University LINC 3.0 Business Unit

Kyungwoon University's LINC 3.0 Business Unit is equipped with specialized research manpower, advanced technology, research spaces, educational facilities, joint research and experimental equipment, and a comprehensive infrastructure network across research, business, and government sectors. By offering various business support programs, it aims to enhance the growth and competitiveness of businesses, leading to regional economic and industrial development.

Kyungwoon University's LINC+ operates the following key programs to achieve a "comprehensive industry-academic collaboration model" between the university and companies.

  • Talent Training Program
  • Business Support Program
  • Global Program

Capstone Design

An integrated design education program that allows engineering students to plan, design, and create a work based on the theories they've learned during their undergraduate years instead of a graduation thesis.

Field Training

A system where students earn credits by participating in practical education at domestic and international industrial sites for a fixed period, co-operated by universities and businesses or institutions.

Flipped Learning Development

An educational program for fostering creative and practical talents. It includes textbook development for interdisciplinary courses to establish the foundation for integrated thinking.

Field 4.0 Talent Training Course

A non-departmental program designed to strengthen students' practical capabilities in line with the characteristics of each department, reflecting the demands of the industry.

Startup Education & Student Startup Support

Regular elective courses are established and operated, such as the "Entrepreneurial Spirit & Venture Start-up" subject, available for all university students to enroll in.

Joint Industry-Academic Technology Development Project

Reflecting the direction of local industry development, we support technological development in the fields of BT (Bio-Technology), ET (Environmental Technology), IT (Information and Communication Technology), NT (Nano-Technology), ST (Aerospace), CT (Cultural Content), VR, Safety in Daily Life, Multimedia, and Healthcare. By providing local companies that face difficulties in commercialization with opportunities to secure core technologies and commercialize them, we aim to boost their enthusiasm for new product development. The ultimate goal is to foster leading enterprises by enhancing external competitiveness by the Kyungwoon University-affiliated companies and achieve mutual growth between the school and companies.

Individual Technical Guidance

By dispatching technical experts directly to SMEs with technical difficulties, the program aims to improve their on-site technical capabilities.

Team-Based Technical Guidance

By forming a Kyungwoon University LINC+ business unit's CIA-Cell based industry-academic collaboration team and dispatching them to SMEs or utilizing professional equipment in the university, it aims to enhance SMEs' technical capabilities.

WingMan Project

Local businesses, universities, and external experts collaboratively participate in the WingMan Project, an R&D talent development program, to provide hands-on experience and collaboratively nurture R&D practitioners needed by local businesses preparing for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and for the development of new technologies and products.

CEO Special Lecture

As part of the student support program, industry experts related to the major are invited to provide students with insights into the industrial field and to enhance their employability. It offers strategies to strengthen student capabilities, suggesting future career directions and cultivating the skills required to lead in the industry after graduation.

Intellectual Property Rights

As a part of the business support program, local businesses within the blind spots of intellectual property are assisted with the costs of applying for intellectual property rights. This initiative aims to facilitate the acquisition of intellectual property rights, enhancing the understanding and thereby increasing the value of local businesses.

Global Competency Enhancement Program

As a part of Kyungwoon University's Research and Business Development Foundation's global talent nurturing program, it aims to enhance students' employment capabilities, provide global field training, and support employment.

Global Research and Business Development Task Force Operation
