Startup Incubation Cente

Designated as an outstanding Startup Incubation center.
Kyungwoon University's Startup Incubation Center was designated by the Small and Medium Business Administration in 2002 and opened in 2003. The university's top-notch research personnel, facilities, and educational functions are utilized to conduct comprehensive and systematic startup incubation projects for prospective entrepreneurs who possess new technologies in the multimedia field. This initiative supports technology, equipment, information, management, and space for business establishment. The main objective is to nurture numerous successful venture startups capable of dominating the global market, establish a practical research atmosphere, promote collaborative research between industry and academia, and encourage the commercialization of research results. The ultimate goal is to revitalize the economy of Gumi and surrounding areas, which are the largest inland national electronics complexes facing relative crises, and increase employment while strengthening national technological competitiveness. In addition to incubating businesses, we also operate a step-by-step incubation program. The program includes a feasibility study for business ideas, education and coaching, technology transfer, research and development, and investment. The Small and Medium Business Administration, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Gumi City have recognized us as outstanding institution.
