Selection Process for Prospective Teacher Training Completers

  • 1. Prospective Teacher Training Completers are chosen from those approved for the major of the installed Teacher Training Course (relevant for the 2nd semester).
Those who have completed 3 semesters or more, returning third-year students, re-admitted students, and transfer students are generally not eligible.
However, if a student has been designated as a prospective completer in another university and transfers to a major with the same designated subject, they may be selected if there is a vacancy within the approved number.

Non-Examination Evaluation and Issuance of Teacher's Certificate

  • 1. Non-examination evaluation strictly chooses the issuance candidates. Factors considered during the non-examination evaluation are:
    • 1) Confirmation of acquired major degree related to teacher qualification
    • 2) Confirmation of degree registration
    • 3) Listing of Prospective Teacher Training Completers
    • 4) Completion of basic areas of study
    • 5) Completion of curriculum education areas
    • 6) Completion of teaching subjects
    • 7) Verification of grade standards
    • 8) Acquisition of specific license (for health teacher)
    • 9) Completion of adult education
    • 10) Completion of cardiopulmonary resuscitation education
    • 11) Qualification from personality test
    • 12) Investigation of sexual offense history
    • 13) Inquiry into drug addiction
  • 2. Once the issuance candidate is finally confirmed by the Teacher Training Committee, the academic affairs office issues the certificate and reports to the Ministry of Education, completing the whole process of acquiring teacher qualification.
